If you are in Downtown Boulder City be sure to swing by the Lady Boutique. This adorable boutique is open Monday-Saturday from 11:15 to 4:30pm and is filled with cute dresses, skirts and hats. The store owner is very friendly and the store is filled with cute things to pick up. I went in and picked up a cute straw sun hat.

Boulder City is buzzing this Friday afternoon. BB’s Creations had a pop up at the Dam Roast House today from 9-1 pm. I decided to stop in for a refreshing iced tea and to pop in and view the stylish designs by BB’s Creations. Her stand features key chains, zipper charms, car mirror charms, sun catchers and more. I ended up picking up a zipper charm for myself. There is nothing like supporting local businesses.

This boutique is located at 410 Nevada Way, Boulder City NV 89005. The shop is filled with shorts, skirts, dresses, tops, hats and other accessories. I stopped in the other day and picked up a skirt, bralette and top. They are light weight and perfect to defeat the summer heat.

Crafty Cards
With Father’s day right around the corner, I decided to shop local this year for my card. I decided to visit Cards o’Glee a charming card shop with other small gifts located right in the heart of downtown Boulder City. This quaint shop has cards for every occasion and each card purchase comes with a cute sticker of your choice from a bin. The cards are reasonably priced and super cute. Be sure to visit Cards o’Glee next time you’re in Boulder City.

Cookie Decorating at Boulder City Co.
Boulder City is filled with multiple things to do and the community here is very active. Boulder City’s own Jennifer Beaudoin of Hope Anchored Cookies hosted a cookie decorating class on Saturday, June 8th. During the class we learned how to decorate 4 different spa inspired cookies.
The class simple and fun filled with tips on how to ice your cookies. Jennifer even surprised us with some raffle prizes courtesy of Creative Hair and Nails. I was lucky enough to be a recipient of a deep treatment certificate. The cookies includes a robe, pair of slippers, spa lady with face mask and a nail polish bottle. The price was $45 and included the pre-baked cookies and supplies to decorate them with. Honestly, this is the perfect girls afternoon out and was so fun.

June at the Senior Center
Time flies when you are having fun- Albert Einstein.
The Senior Center in Boulder City, NV has many exciting events planned this month. Are you over the age of 60 head over to the center to join in on weekly classes, and meals for as cheap as $3. The center is $15 to join for the year and includes many exciting perks. There hours of operations are between 8am to 3pm.
